Shalom is the way God intended life to be, shalom is what sin corrupted, and shalom is what Jesus Christ will restore. As people are assisted to become productive participants of their community, people, families, and whole communities began to experience shalom. Shalom is the gospel (Genesis 1:28, Revelation 21:5-7).
