WeRoy.org is a site that helps to distribute a free 60-minute documentary film called "We", which features the words of award winning author, peace activist and humanitarian, Arundhati Roy. The film can be downloaded and viewed online for free. However, for those who would like a television quality version, a DVD disc is also available for as low as a $5 donation. After production and shipping costs, we have a little left over from each donation. In the spirit of Ms. Roy's humanitarian work, that extra change is pooled and used to directly help many of the people she fights for in the developing world, through Kiva.

"Today the world is run by three of the most secretive institutions in the world: The International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the World Trade Organization, all three of which, in turn, are dominated by the U.S. Their decisions are made in secret. The people who head them are appointed behind closed doors. Nobody really knows anything about them, their politics, their beliefs, their intentions. Nobody elected them. Nobody said they could make decisions on our behalf." - Arundhati Roy |
