I loan because:: Investments of love, time, labor and money (given in that order) work.
About me:: I believe I can invest a $15,000 "nest-egg" in the futures market and obtain a return of about $3000 a month. I believe I can double the nest-egg in a year and likewise double the return. Is it risky? Yes. I could easily loose it all in a month. Why am I doing this? (1) I retired early with not quite enough savings to see me through -- I'm short about $2000 a month. (2) I spent my life (all 62 years of it) wasting time. I do not want to have on my tombstone the inscription "Here lies a man who did nothing -- God is NOT pleased". (3) So before the sun sets on my life I make a difference in the lives of others by investing in those charities that feed to world's hungry and care for the world's needy. (4) So I will devote to these charities all the investment earnings not needed to support my modest lifestyle (5) This is 99% about spiritual improvement and 1% about making money.
