I currently work as a Kiva Fellow to further Kiva's mission in Armenia. I meet borrowers, travel around Armenia, and consult with the 3 partner MFI's that Kiva works with here.

Bio:
Vanick Der Bedrossian was born in San Francisco and moved to Paris, France at the age of nine. His experiences growing up in Europe fuelled an interest in travel, photography, and epicurean culture. He attended the University of California in Santa Cruz and studied abroad in Ghana, West Africa. He graduated with a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology in 2006 and was awarded Highest Honors in his major. Since graduating Vanick has been working at La Mediterranee, his family's bustling trio of Bay Area restaurants. His experience running a restaurant has been invaluable, but he is now looking forward to a new journey in Armenia as a Kiva Fellow. Vanick speaks Armenian and hopes to bring his passion for microfinance, writing, and photography to the Nor Horizon, SEF, and AREGAK MFIs present in Armenia.
