I loan because:: I have seen the effects of poverty firsthand through visiting my extended family in the Philippines. I also know that those less fortunate than us, surprisingly, are often happier. I want to make a difference to someone, even if they don't know I did.
About me:: I am studying Elementary Education and Peace & Conflict Studies, in order to hopefully break into the field of Peace Education and teach young students the benefits of effectively dealing with conflict, so that, hopefully, the next generation will be more prepared to create positive, sustainable peace in our world.
