I loan because:
This account came into being when far too many loans were being listed on Kiva, with the result that too many loans were expiring. Despite what Kiva says, having this many expiring loans does have a negative effect, not only on Field Partners and Borrowers, but also on us Lenders. This is a secondary account, initially started with a trial loan (which expired...), and the dodo was resurrected with the aim of attempting to highlight the expiry issue. The "open market place" has been shown not to work. I'm thankful that some sense now prevails and the crazy number of loans appears to have settled back to something more manageable. These are people, not sacks of potatoes...
