- My favorite quote is -- "do what you can, with what you have, where you are." That philosophy led me to Kiva. Growing up in a working class family, I know first-hand the roadblocks for the working poor. I also know how much a helping hand can mean at a critical moment. I can't afford to make huge donations nor am I in a position to volunteer on a full-time basis. But through organizations like Kiva, I am trying to "do what I can, with what I have, where I am."
