Bio:
A native New Yorker, Tamara graduated from the University of Virginia in 2002, with a degree in Economics and Foreign Affairs. Subsequently, Tamara spent two years working for an investment bank in Manhattan before relocating to Tokyo with her firm where she has spent the past six years of her career. During her time in Japan, Tamara was introduced to the world of microfinance, and a desire to pair her passion for social responsibility and her professional skill set prompted her to pursue an opportunity to contribute through the Kiva Fellowship Program. Humbled and ecstatic, Tamara is eagerly looking forward to continuing the work of the Kiva Fellows who have served before her, and becoming a part of the Kiva community
