My heart almost burst from excitement when I first learned how Kiva works. A while back, I bought a gift certificate for my boyfriend, and now I finally have the cash to make more loans.
About me:
I'm working as a public school teacher in Suwon, South Korea. I'm on a contract until August 2009, but I enjoy my job and all its perks, so I'll probably return for another year... or two.
I spend my free time reading, taking photographs and studying the Korean language.
Previously, I worked as a radio news writer in Halifax, Canada. Great job, terrible hours (3AM-8AM M-F).
