I loan because:
I want to help. I can. I should. I must. I didn't control where I was born, who my parents were or what decisions they, or any of my ancestors made. Somehow I just managed to win the post-code lottery. But I can control the the impact I make and helping people access credit and financial services sounds like a sensible place to start.
About me:
The picture is from a while back, from a jelly eating competition at my previous workplace. No hands or utensils allowed, of course. I'm wiping some of the jelly off my chin. Having the freedom to gorge on jelly in my lunch break carries with it the obligation to help right some of the injustices of wealth distribution, I reckon.
