I loan because:
I missed a chance to be in the Peace Corp when I was young. Now I can do something good without leaving home. Kiva.org is fun because I can hope to visit these countries some day.
About me:
Most of my life I have worked to construct buildings and later to inspect homes and commercial buildings to make sure they are safe. More recently I worked to make sure new buildings are in places that are safe from floods, landslides, and natural hazards.
