I loan because:
I loan because I’m utterly passionate about humanity and what we can all do with what we’re given. The first few times as a child when I met people who needed money more than I did at the moment, I wanted to give them everything I had – which is neither realistic nor attainable if I also want to enjoy my own life, as well as keep both giving and loaning over the years! I’m a struggling student now, but as I become savvier and wealthier I hope to be able to do more. So I do what I can for those who are clearly trying. I buy new kitchen supplies for shelters in my area, I donate regularly to a few of the food and animal charities closest to my heart, and I loan on Kiva to wonderful people trying to make their own difference in the world of food!
