I loan because:
I loan because I need to be able to believe in something better for the world, I throughout my life try to find ways to improve the lives of those around me as much as plausibly possible without being too self sacrificing. I make all efforts that I can to help those in need when I see or hear about them on my life journeys but without the support of others it is very difficult to come together and help those that need help. That's why I am so very grateful to the people of Kiva for the efforts that they have made to help fund those that otherwise cannot secure funding alone. It is fantastic to see a charitable organisation running like a for profit organisation in so much as their aggressively progressive and innovative business practises. It is sad but true that many of the best opportunities do not get taken advantage of by charities because the people with the expertise to execute the needed organisational strategy are usually swayed away by better paying jobs in the for profit sector, that's what makes Kiva so great, they are hitting the highs of a profit taking company but they do so with the intention of helping the people of the world life happier and better lives.
About me:
I work as a teacher, I am currently taking jobs as a substitute teacher across many schools until I can find a perminent school to settle down in. I love my work because teaching is one of the greatest gifts that we can give to one another in our lives and I get to give the gift of learning to my students everyday in my work. Having said that I do wish the children would be a little more respectful at times!
