Maybe 50 years ago, Clarence Jordan, founder of Koinonia, wrote, "What the poor need is not charity, but capital," and it's exciting to be able to fill that need. Just reading about the businesses and the other lenders makes me more hopeful about our world.

I edit reports about schools for a non-profit educational consortium. In my spare time, I try to fix the world by prompting one conscience or one imagination at a time.
