- Going to grad school to study International Development. Involved a bit with Kiva from time to time.

- Bio:
- Sam graduated from Boston University in 2006 with a degree in International Relations focusing on Post-Soviet countries. Sam has spent most of his working life following a passion for International Development. During university he spent a summer interning on Capitol Hill, and another summer working for a non-profit that brought Russian small business owners to the United States to learn from American small business owners. He recently returned from Peace Corps in Ukraine (2008-2010), where he worked in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. He also worked for AmeriCorps in Alaska, and ACCION International a microfinance organization based in Boston. Sam hopes to attend graduate school upon returning from his Kiva Fellows assignment, and study International Development in Post Conflict Regions. He speaks Russian, and is excited to learn a bit of the Turkic and Farsi based languages that can be found in Central Asia.
