I loan because:
In the past I have felt that when I gave to charity organizations the money got divided up and only a little bit got to the people that needed it and then only as a hand-out. Microcredit gives loans not hand-outs to individuals motivated to getting themselves and their family out of poverty. If giving what amounts to pocket change for most of us can make a difference then why not give a little.
