Prior to that, she worked in JPMorgan's Investment Banking Division in the media, telecom and technology sector. Throughout her professional life, she has built on her quantitative research and critical analysis skills to evaluate investments and corporate decisions as well as to advise clients. She also has a keen interest in international business and development, which is driven by her travel, volunteer and finance experiences. During college, along with business she studied history with particular emphasis on South Asia and gender roles. As a Kiva Fellow, she is interested in learning about the impact of microfinance on women's roles in society as well as risk management and mobile technology applications in microfinance. She is excited about improving her Urdu and Punjabi language skills while she is in Pakistan.
