I loan because:
I want to help save the world, one person at a time. I know that sounds naive, but it is true. I especially want to help women in Africa, South America and Asia, as in many cultures in these parts of the world women often have second-class status.
About me:
I am a retired university professor. I did cancer and AIDS research for many years. I still teach a course on AIDS ("AIDS: biomedical, social and ethical issues"). I am particularly concerned about the impact AIDS has had in Sub-Saharan Africa.
