- I found myself unemployed and my Mother lent me money to start my business. I opened an embroidery shop and ran it for 15 years. I sold it a year ago and retired. I know how it feels to struggle and forge ahead.

- I embroidered logos on jackets and hats and shirts for companies. I also embroidered names on garments, towels, baby gifts and more. I never got rich but I supported myself and my children and paid all my bills.
