Bio:
After working for a couple of large corporations directing all things web related (SA, QA, DEV, Release, Network and hardware optimization, etc.) while maintaining an entrepreneur-like spirit (meaning things got done despite the confines of corporate bureaucracy), Peter decided to join Kiva. He believes that most things in life are easy and simple. However due to various reasons, some valid, complexities have been innovated which we need to remedy. Peter is inspired by stories such as Shirky's, "The Collapse of Complex Business Models" and Robert Harrison's, "Weather Balloon Photos of Space Stun Even NASA". Peter believes life is like tightrope walking (sometimes with and sometimes w/o a safety net) therefore always stimulating. One of his favorite authors is a 16th Century Frenchman by the name of Michel Montaigne, a contemporary of Pascal. Though Peter grew up in West L.A, he's never forgotten his early childhood in Beirut, Lebanon where he lived a fairy tale like childhood until it's disruption by civil war which served as a catalyst for the move to the U.S. Hes now living a charmed life in Los Angeles, interrupted only by sometimes jarring, jolting and frequent aha synapses/thoughts in his brain, which are *always* exhilarating.
