I loan because:: Over the last thirty years or so, micro finance has proven to be the best tool we have at reducing extreme poverty. Extreme poverty and environmental degradation are the two biggest problems currently facing mankind. While micro finance on its own may not eliminate poverty, it has, and will continue to go a long way towards mitigating the problem, and in turn help prevent some of the environmental degradation overpopulation is causing.
