Bio:
Olivia is a British-American linguist who graduated from Oxford University with a BA in French and Italian. During her degree, she had the opportunity to live and work in Paris, Guadeloupe and Siena, Italy. Following this, she spent a year as a non-degree student at Harvard University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, where she realised that her ideal career lay in international development. After a year working in marketing at Google, Olivia is keen to transition into the field of development and humanitarian work, and she couldn't be more excited to begin her fellowship in South Africa and Zambia. Olivia has volunteered previously on NGO projects in Sri Lanka, Morocco and Fiji, working in two schools and one maternity hospital. Following her fellowship, she plans ultimately to pursue a joint MBA and Master of Public Health at Columbia University. She is particularly excited to meet a South African giraffe.
