I loan because:
We the students of Mr. Wood’s first hour US History class, would like to take our hard working money and donate it to less fortunate people. As soon as Mr.Wood told us about KIVA we were ready to do whatever it took to help as many people as possible. KIVA touched us as a class. Instead of thinking about ourselves, we are trying to think of others. Instead of taking, we are giving. The children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. It feels so good to donate and to know that you are actually doing something to help others. We are standing up NOW and taking control. KIVA is a wonderful site and is doing a wonderful job.
About me:
Students taking a stand in the real world. We are people who care about others and want to make a difference.
