I loan because:
The spirit of the universe moves me, but also the spirit of my friend Tracey. In 2006, first her brother Robyn and then her father were diagnosed with cancer and both have sinced passed away. Tracey is studying economics and environmental geography and intends to work in the non-profit development field when she completes her degree. Her father began life as a farm boy in India before moving to Canada and so in honour of all that her family has gone through this past year, I make my first KIVA loan.
About me:
I work at city hall in the office that processes development applications. How much better it is to assist development overseas.
