- We are a student-run initiative within our school community. Part of our school's mission-statement is to promote "Global Citizenship," and we feel that Kiva's efforts are a fantastic way to stress the importance of real-world philanthropy.

- We are a group of students who fund-raise as a collective in order to be able to contribute to Kiva's entrepreneurs. Led by Mike Mszański and Shanel Mehta, both Newark Academy class of 2009.
