Bio:
Miranda's desire to become a Kiva Fellow stemmed from the prospect of being able to harness her financial knowledge to benefit those living in poverty. A banker by background, Miranda spent (too) many years providing structured debt solutions to corporations across the Asia-Pacific region. Complementing her private sector experience, Miranda was also a Finance Advisor at United Nations Development Prorgramme (UNDP) in Cambodia and completed microfinance training at Grameen Bank in Bangladesh. Miranda earned a Master of Applied Finance and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) / Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) degrees from the University of Melbourne. She is excited at the opportunity to learn about microfinance in Central Asia and promises to remain brave when trying local culinary delights.
