Much of what I do is based on acting locally and thinking globally. But once in a while, I think it is important to look at the big picture too, and Kiva satisfied a desire I have had for some time to help others, even outside my immediate realm of control. I can do without that extra icecream cone, piece of pizza or CD album. Joining Kiva is also an expresssion of my spirituality in the sense of Buddhist "right action". |

I have a dual careers... one in the health care technology as a software developer, and another as a composer/performer. In both of those areas, technology has changed how we live and work. I like Kiva because it is another example of a great idea that really can change the world. |
