Bio:
Michele is a Masters candidate at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy where she is studying human security and development economics. Prior to attending graduate school, Michele lived in Dhaka, Bangladesh for four months where she interned at the Yunus Centre and worked on social business initiatives. Michele’s work experience also includes an internship with ACCION USA, where she worked on a strategic plan to increase domestic microfinance’s reach in the United States, and four years in the private sector where she worked at J.P. Morgan and IBM. Michele is excited to go to Africa for the first time and see how microfinance helps borrowers achieve their livelihoods. She is looking forward to meeting Kiva borrowers, traveling around the region, and immersing herself in the local culture.
