My family and I think Kiva is a brilliant idea. Being in business myself, I understand how hard it is to grow a business even under good economic conditions. The challenges that the entrepreneurs on Kiva face are far, far, far greater and I applaud and greatly admire them all for their commitment, ambition and tenacity! I'll be doing my best to get other businesses involved.
We only wish we could lend to all of the entrepreneurs listed on Kiva!
Involvement in Kiva is also a great project for families; helping to raise and maintain our awareness of just how tough things can be for others and that we all have a responsibility to help where we can. Each of my family is choosing an entrepreneur to lend to.
About me:
I work with a renewable energy company in Australia that sells solar panels etc. and also provide marketing and ecommerce consultancy services; i.e. helping small businesses succeed on the Internet.
