Bio:
Micaela Browning was born in the quaint hamlet of Hanover, NH. When she tired of small-town life, she moved to Baltimore and obtained degree in Latin American Studies from Johns Hopkins University. Afterward, she moved to Chile to intern with Amnesty International for a year, before hopping across the continent to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she worked with various NGOs for two years. After a year working for a public health startup in New York City, Micaela decided to pursue a Masters in International Development from Tulane University in New Orleans. Micaela loves language and speaks Portuguese, French, and Spanish (and English on good days). She enjoys making bad jokes in Portuguese, Cajun cooking, and avoiding New England winters.
