- Megan McTiernan has worked for a range of Bay Area organizations focused on youth and working families. She is currently the Executive Director for a small family foundation interested in initiatives that break the cycle of poverty. She has joined Kiva to learn more about the on ground work of microfinance institutions and the lessons for funders considering these initiatives. She has traveled in Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia. Megan speaks Spanish with ease, appreciates a great cup of coffee and has been to the New Orleans Jazz Festival eighteen times.
