People who have achieved financial success have not done so on their own; someone has invested in them by lending money or by lending a hand. That is what Kiva is about: directly investing in good people and in their communities. I enjoy being part of that. Another reason to lend: we are commanded to love our neighbors. Kiva gives us a great way to be faithful to that commandment.
