I loan because:
I strongly believe one of the best ways (if not he best) to help people in developing countries is by promoting and facilitating/funding their economic development through constructive entrepreneurship (i.e. not speculation-based entrepreneurship). KIVA is the best option I've found so far to try to accomplish this, I'm glad it's being so successful.
I only wish there were some Healthcare related projects we could help fund (I haven't seen any yet)... Particularly since I work in this field, and the need for better (or at least 'some') healthcare is huge in those countries.
Anyway, a step at a time, and my sincere congratulations to KIVA for the idea and the implementation.
