The borrowers are offering useful goods and services to their communities. I'm impressed by how resourceful they are in environments that are much more difficult than any I've had to deal with. And yet, with each person, there is usually something about their business, their aspirations, their family or their circumstances that is like my own or like someone I know here. These glimpses make the world seem smaller and friendlier.
