About me:
Volunteer as a representative of Kiva in the field in Nicaragua, working with its partner microfinance institutions as trainer, auditor, relationship manager and reporter.

Bio:
As a native of the Netherlands but with Chinese-Indonesian parents, Luan has been a big fan of travelling, bridging cultures and learning languages ever since she was little. She particularly discovered the joys of local cuisines. After university and a gap-year abroad, Luan continued her life travels across Europe and the US as a business consultant with IBM to help pharmaceutical companies get their products to market faster and safer. As part of the IBM Corporate Service Corps, she volunteered in Kenya where she set the foundations for the national E-Government regulatory framework. Luan has lived, studied and worked in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, China, Kenya and has now recently settled in sunny Southern California, USA. She considers it a great honor and an exciting challenge to serve as a Kiva fellow with CEPRODEL in Nicaragua and to work with the ambitious, strong entrepreneurs it supports.
