Bio:: Liz has been Kiva's Editing Coordinator since March of 2009, managing the team of volunteer editors who review all English-language Kiva loan descriptions prior to their appearance on kiva.org. Liz previously worked in book publishing as a Senior Editor at Little, Brown and Company in New York, but decided after traveling in the developing world to turn her attention to international development. She spent a summer teaching English to high school students in rural northeastern Thailand through the Volunthai program before resettling in San Francisco. She's looking forward to helping Kiva's new partners in Armenia develop their borrower profile content and to seeing, firsthand, what kind of a difference microfinance can make in the lives of small-scale entrepreneurs.
