- When I started my business I had a young child and no credit. I was able to obtain a loan through a group that helped mothers in particular. Without this loan my business probably would have failed and because of it my life has changed so much for the better. Sometimes we have big dreams and just need a little help to realize them. It feels so great to know that this small gesture will directly benefit people who are determined to make their lives better.

- ~I own a demonstrating pottery studio/retail store. ~I teach yoga and am a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist (mind/body connection therapy). ~I am a director of Starbelly Jam Music Festival, a 2 day music fest in the Kootenays (BC) every July for 10 years! ~I recently raised $20,000 in 6 months as part of a challenge by "Off the Mat, Into the World" and travelled to Cambodia to work with the Cambodian Children's Fund. As a group we raised over $500K for the CCF. I recommend going to Cambodia and really immersing yourself in the culture and learning the history.
