Bio:
Laura grew up and attended college in Maryland, and has spent the last few years living in beautiful Northern California. Her background includes working with top-notch non-profits such as the Worldwatch Institute and the Jane Goodall Institute. Laura also spent several years working in finance at the Corporate Executive Board, a for-profit management consulting firm. Laura plans to transition her career into the field of international development, and is particularly interested in developing business opportunities for women. Personal and professional travel has taken her to Africa (including study abroad programs in South Africa and Tanzania), Europe, and Central America, and she looks forward to exploring new areas of the globe working with Kiva’s field partners and entrepreneurs. In her personal time, Laura loves to read, bake, explore, and practice yoga.
