- I loan, through Kiva, because it is not giving alms, but helping people empower and help themselves. You know that story about giving a fish or teaching how to fish? Here's people who basically know how to fish, and just need someone to help them buy a fishing rod... or bait... or... well, you know what I mean.

- I have been, am, or have worked as a gardener, physics lab assistant, political scientist, journalist, call centre agent, workforce manager, system administrator, database specialist, controller, scripter, application developer... and yes, pretty much in this order, with some overlaps. I'm currently working on expanding into controlling and more technical / IT job opportunities. And that's only in the real world, apart from thousands of lives lived and careers pursued in PC games. But in the end I'm just a statistically and computer-wise talented, academically well-trained political scientist who's somewhat adrift in life, and striving for one thing - in the words of Mary Wollstonecraft: "I aim at being useful."
