Bio:
Clara is a graduate from the Erasmus University in the Netherlands. While studying International Business Administration, she was on exchange in Mexico and did a social internship in Costa Rica. Her first job was at the Dutch bank ABN AMRO. Now she works for the multinational KPMG, where she advises companies on sustainability issues and verifies Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Reports from financial institutions. She married her husband Niels in November, and both Clara and Niels got permission from their employers for half a year sabbatical. Her interest for microfinance started when she read Yunus' book 'Banker to the poor'. She wants to become a Kiva expert in KF14 in order to add value to the MFI IMPRO in La Paz. She would also love to learn about Bolivian culture.
