Unfortunately and with regret, I too will be withdrawing my funds from KIVA as they are repaid. KIVA lenders have repeatedly asked the KIVA administration to remove loans that involve cockfighting, but they refuse to do so. I understand that there are cultural differences, but animal cruelty is animal cruelty. I have been a KIVA member for three years, spoke VERY highly of KIVA and have recruited other people as well, so it is with a heavy heart that I will no longer be supporting KIVA.
