I loan because:
We are trying to follow in Christ's foot steps in reaching out to the poor. We are also inspired by Muhammad Yunus and the Grameen Bank who have helped transform the economy of Bangladesh, and who were recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.
About me:
We are alums of a 32-week program that transformed us about social justice. This was our first group action to promote justice for the poor. Graduates have gone on to jail ministry, inter-faith peace, advocate for peace in Palestine, and helping the homeless among other activities.
