I believe in the power of women to uplift themselves and their families. I am blessed to live in the United States and have the opportunities that many women across the globe do not have. If I can help through small acts, then it is my honor.
About me:
I work for a non-profit organization in the Silicon Valley that supports public education through grantmaking. Our current focus is on science, technology and engineering, but we also have programs in math and literacy. I process all of our grants, manage IT for the entire foundation and manage the office as well as do some financial work. Ultimately I plan to return to school to get my masters in international development and to pursue a NPO/NGO career focusing on African women's issues.
