Bio:
When Josh was 18 years old, he took a year off and lived in the north of Thailand, Chiang Rai, teaching conversational English. Upon his return to the UK, he went to the University of Hull where he undertook a B.A. in Southeast Asian Studies & Indonesian Language. After university, he began working in the finance office of a local charity that promoted disability rights & services. Although he began this particular area of work more out of financial necessity, he found he was quite competent with figures, growing to appreciate and enjoy the work involved in managing an organization´s finances. After six years with this organization, building on his financial administration and management skills, he became self employed as a bookkeeper/financial consultant. For several years, he worked for a wide range of local businesses, sole traders, charities & community projects, establishing & administering their financial systems on an ongoing or consultative basis. He then moved to Andalucia, Spain and began working for a family run property company in Gibraltar. At the end of July 2010, he resigned from this post, after a very enjoyable four and a bit years, in order to take up the Kiva Fellowship.
