Bio:
John has an MA in math from Truman State University. He became interested in computer programming after teaching math for several years, and now designs database applications. Recently, he's spent almost as much time in Guatemala as in the US, taking part in a variety of volunteer projects and coaching the municipal soccer team of Santiago Atitlán. When not coaching or working, he's usually playing soccer. A big fan of social entrepreneurship, microfinance and crowdsourcing, John is confident his fellowship with Kiva will be very rewarding.
