Bio:
John received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a double emphasis in Accounting and Finance. His love of numbers and passion for helping people is perfectly matched with the Kiva Fellows program. John recently left Deloitte in San Francisco as a Senior Associate in their Audit and Enterprise Risk Services division. With his 4-year experience at Deloitte, John will bring knowledge of the inner-workings of many companies ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to small start-up firms, as well as government-based institutions including the US Federal Reserve bank. John primarily focused on the financial services industry while at Deloitte, and he looks forward to applying these skills with ASKI in the Philippines. John is also excited to gain firsthand experience in the microfinance field, as he hopes to pursue graduate studies in finance or related international fields with the ultimate goal of pursuing a career in structured finance to provide 3rd world nations with funding for economically viable projects. When not working, John enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as physical activities including golf, sailing, surfing, snowboarding and tennis.
