I loan because:: I want to help. I want to feel a connection. We do what we can in life and Kiva helps us do a little more. Throwing a pebble into the ocean - begins with a ripple and then eventually becomes a wave of change.
About me:: I'm a story teller. I work in TV primarily. But I would love to make a film one day. One of my favourite all time movies is "Cinema Paradiso" about an Italian director who reflects back on his childhood after he learns of the death of his beloved friend back in his hometown that he left years before. I love this movie because among many things - it's about family and community and never forgetting where you come from - even if you are miles and years away. Movies help us to connect - on a personal level and at the same time on a universal scale. I think Kiva does the same thing so beautifully. I'm glad to be a small part of this terrific organization.
