Bio:
Jenny is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina where she majored in International Studies with a focus on Africa and politics. She grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and has worked with Kentucky Refugee Ministries teaching English as a second language. Jenny speaks French, Lingala (spoken in the Democratic Republic of the Congo), and is currently working on Tagalog (the national language of the Philippines). She is looking forward to learning more about sustainable development and the opportunity to observe the impact of microfinance firsthand in Kenya. Following her work with Kiva, Jenny will be attending law school to further her interest in international relations as well as the intersection of technology and the law.
