Bio:: Jennifer is a recent graduate with BS degrees in Finance and Marketing, in addition to a minor in the Chinese Language and a certificate in International Business from Arizona State University (ASU). During her time at ASU, Jennifer has had opportunities to travel to China on multiple occasions to study the effects of globalization on the economic, social, financial, and cultural conditions in the country. Her experience abroad sparked her interest in Asia, particularly in her concern for the poverty and corruption issues she witnessed while traveling throughout Asia. Jennifer’s family is from Cambodia, so she grew up understanding the Cambodian language and culture through the stories that her family would share with her. She has always wanted to go to Cambodia and is honored to finally get the opportunity to add value, and make a true positive impact in lives of families and individuals in her family’s home country. Jennifer's life passion is to utilize her skills in business to help others, and after learning about Kiva’s model and mission, Jennifer is looking forward to gaining firsthand experience in the microfinance world.
