I believe micro-lending can be an incredible tool for lifting people out of poverty. Micro-lending is not new. It's been happening for decades and the concept is proven. It really works.
About me:
Marketing Professional with 1.5 decades of experience in strategic direct marketing.

I view marketing as more science than art. I'm far more interested in direct response marketing than in branding. I employ a methodical, disciplined approach that is always driven by the bottom line.

It starts with an idea - driven by strategic company needs. I believe in testing ideas at the smallest feasible scale, followed by careful measurement. Test, measure, refine, scale, repeat.

Over the last 5 years, I've gravitated to web marketing. Search marketing has become, by far, the most cost-effective advertising channel in the history of the planet. From a marketer's perspective it's the holy grail because your market self-identifies. It's a dream come true when your market tells you (by the keywords they search for) that they are looking for what you are selling.
